As long as whomever plays the Joker doesn't actually get to use their own voice ... the Joker NEEDS to be voiced by Mark Hammill ... hell, they even did that for the live action series Birds of Prey ... I think maybe I've O.D'd on too many cartoons ...

Mark Hamill makes me giggle. He's so goofy-looking. But honestly, I had no idea he was a voice actor. His list on IMDB is impressively long, although I can't say I remember hearing him anywhere. I don't think I've seen any of the shows he's given voices to -- the ones I have seen, he didn't play a very big part in. I didn't expect to learn something today! Neat!

On ANY of the Batman Animated series for the past ten years ... he's been the voice of the Joker ... PERIOD ... that includes all incarnations of the Batman show, the adventures of Batman and Robin, Batman Beyond, the two or three animated Batman movies they've released ... and ... like I said ... even the WB's short lived Birds of Prey ... didn't watch it long enough to see if the Joker showed up, but in the pilot ... you see a blurry image of him ... and the voice ... Mark Hamill ...

Any Joker MUST be voiced by Mark Hamill ... and a young Caesar Romero ... and the Penguin must be played by Burgess Meredith ... and the Riddler MUST be Frank Gorshin ... NOT Gomez Addams ...

I think I'm done now ... checking ... yeah ... done ...

Yeah, he is very good at it too. I didn't know it was him for the longest time and when I listened the next time I saw the animated Joker, I couldn't tell it was "Luke Skywalker" either.

By the way, how do get dead guys to do voice acting?

Well in that case I guess I have heard him. Holy crap, I never would've guessed that was him. Lil' Luke Skywalker's all growed up, huh?

And as for Birds of Prey, I tend to stay as far away from the WB as possible. /shudder

I think it would be interesting if they continued to create new villians. Although, if they decide to reuse previous villians in different stories or simply remake (doubt they will remake) the other movies Id still have to see it just because this one was so great.
well if Nolan is apart of this i think the Joker will be the next one. regardless if he has already been in a prior batman movie.. The reason is the backstore for the joker and why he is what he is would make a nice instalment to batman begins 2. and move away form bruce wayne alittle and focuse on the villian for part 2 who better to do this with than the joker..

You have no idea how much I love that movie! LOL! I watch my DVD all the time... In my old choir we did all the songs and had fun choreography to go along with them. It was awesome.

All the Bale love in this thread gives me a happy.

You and me, both! Speaking of Bale-love, has anyone seen the unedited version of American Psycho? I saw it in Best Buy today, and I want to know if it'll be that much different from what I've already seen. Even with Bale, it didn't hold a candle to the book, but somehow I doubt they could've done a few of those things in a film... it certainly would've raised more than a few eyebrows, moreso than the original version even. Heh.

I think her face is too much *sweet?* Kinda out of context in Ghotam.

As for the Joker, I dont think they will do the Burton series again, but if they finally do, I agree, Joker must look like the IT clown instead of the Burton's one.

NOW! Let's see, jus several more days and ill be ready for another movie trip... WAR OF THE F***IN WORLDS BABY
Yah but I dunno. Something in the preview I saw for War of the Worlds makes me think it's gonna be like I, Robot.

In other words, nothing like the book aside from aliens attacking (I, Robot the movie and I, Robot the book only had the three laws in common).

We'll see.

Wish I could remember what it was bout the preview though...

I think it was Tom Cruise being in it that threw you off.
